Summary

The Kolsvik Gold Project is located sout of the Artic Circle circa 300 km north of Trondheim. The Project is located in northern Norway circa 50 km east from Bronnoysund in the Bindal municipality, Nordland County, north-central Norway. The gold mineralization outcrops in the steep scree covered hillsides of the Bogadalen valley about 5 km south of the quay at the Kolsvikbogen bay on the east-southern side of the Tosenfjord, ice-free year-round.

Bindal Gruver required a lead mining consultant to provide essential expertise in regards to an updated application for an operating license for the Kolsvik Gold Mining Project to be submitted to The Directorate of Mining (Direktoratet for mineralforvaltning (DMF)).

Our challenges

The basis for assessment of the geological conditions sufficiently improved so that Bindal Gruver AS can proceed with the work of updating the application for an operating licence.

Our team has been supporting Bindal Gruver with the mandatory modification applications consisting of a standalone Mineral Project Technical Report for Kolsvik Gold Project, Nordland, Norway.

Most recently our team has been supporting Bindal Gruver with the updated Kolsvik Gold Project operational plan application in accordance with DMF's operational plan guide and responded to previous deficiencies identified by the DMF.
